Violence to junior or senior student bullying often colored shades of the new school year. Finally, eight high school students in grade I Don Bosco Pondok Indah are victims of violence by a senior. They were slapped, kicked, burned up a cigarette. This case was processed by the South Jakarta Police. Where is the gap until the violence as “entrenched” in educational institutions?
Lody Paat education observers said the bullying occurs because the action seemed to have become a usual and accustomed.

Lody said that if the violence is due at the School Orientation Period (MOS), then such activities could be eliminated or given rules. Students should be taught that character education anti-violence.
Violence in schools, according to him, not merely physical but also psychological and symbolic. Ways to address bullying in schools, according to Lody, is to change a system built on the school. Key words of this change is that relationships must be built at the school through its programs.
Relation in question is between teachers and students, students with students, teachers with the knowledge, and students with the knowledge. From this relation, he says, will wake up and can create an effective school environment.
Lody added, the school must also provide character education to students as a whole. Education is not only of one subject, but must be inserted in all the courses and student activities. Of character education that students learn to be responsible.
